Welcome to Ash Physiotherapy
& Sports Injury Clinic
We are based in the centre of East Kent.
If you are in Pain and need Physiotherapy advice
Can't telephone right now but would still like to talk?
We can call you back at a more convenient time
The Ash Physiotherapy Clinic is now open for face to face consultations
When you telephone the clinic for an appointment, an email will be sent to you. In this email you will receive a Covid-19 Health Screening Questionnaire together with a document explaining what you may expect when you attend the clinic for your appointment.
When you arrive at your appointment, we will need your consent:
1. To take your temperature
2. For Contact Tracing purposes
3. For physiotherapy treatment
During the appointment, the physiotherapist will be wearing disposable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) complying with Public Health England advice, which will include gloves, masks, aprons and possibly visors, depending on what is most appropriate to protect both you and the clinician.
Between appointments, there will be appropriate gaps to allow for PPE disposal and change and full disinfection of the treatment rooms and all contact points in the clinic. You will be able to exit from the building via the back door to access the parking areas to maintain social distancing.
You will be required to wear a face mask and are welcome to bring your own hand sanitiser for use once you are in the clinic. Hand sanitiser is available for use on entering the building.
You must inform the clinic if you later develop symptoms related to Covid 19.
Please note that toilet facilities will be restricted.
Established in 1991 by Louise Cousins, the Ash Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic has a team of Chartered Physiotherapists with a variety of expert skills for assesssing and treating sporting injuries, spinal pain, joint problems, soft tissue strains, headaches, hypermobility, balance disorders and dizziness.
Patients are booked in to see the Physiotherapist most qualified to assess and treat their particular problem. During the treatment sessions the Physiotherapists will review exercises, suggest positive lifestyle changes, advise on risk factors to prevent recurrences of the problem and encourage a healthy way of life.
